The Laurentide Ice Sheet advanced out of Canada about 25,000 years ago and reached southern New England about 21,000 years ago. Shortly after its arrival, the ice sheet began its retreat as melting along the glacier front exceeded the advance of the ice. During the retreat, the ice sheet built Cape Cod.
Lauren Tide is what formed the Cape, so we wanted to pay it our respects. As an added bonus, one of our best friends is named Lauren.
Whether you’re Cape Cod natives like us, or visiting for the first time, Lauren Tide products are made for you. Our belts are inspired by the Cape and Islands. Made right here in New England, so you can take a piece of The Cape and Islands home with you, wherever your home may be.
